Subjective Reality (The Law of Attraction) Pt.2

Well I am now going to talk about The Law of Attraction, this is one of the Laws of The Universe and its a very powerful law, its so powerful that it was hidden from public knowledge for so many years. But now in a recently success the movie: The Secret has spread the message to thousands worldwide.

And the law of attraction works like this:

What you think about, comes about.
As within, So without,
As above, So below

And so on and so on. Its not a joke. Its not a trick. I am not going to ask for hundreds of Pounds or Dollars for the privilege of learning this secret. No. I am going to tell you for free, without wanting ANYTHING in return. OK. Do you understand. Its pay enough that you just TRY what I say. Its free, so what’s to lose?
OK but before I get to that I am know that my last Subjective reality article left on a cliff hanger, to be honest I didn’t leave it like that to get you to come back, I really didn’t. I was just tired and I felt the article was long enough. I promised I would tell you why you attract things you don’t want. There is a more powerful belief overshadowing it that creates it. Don’t worry all will become clear as the article progresses.
So lets begin with the fundamentals. Which is really what this article is about.

The LoA (Law of Attraction) is a way of getting what you really want and enjoying life to the full. Yeah I know. Amazing isn’t it. “But what’s the catch Phil,” I hear you cry. No catch. Its totally risk free, guaranteed 100% IF you follow the rules. It works by attracting what you focus on most. So if I believe wholly that I am a muscly person, my muscle mass will increase seemingly of its own accord. But that’s not really true because it won’t just increase. However opportunity will spring up which will give you access to this muscle-mass you so desire, perhaps in the form of a new Gym opening, or a special offer on a Gym membership, perhaps a friend of yours has just bought this great book that helps you get motivated to do things like this…but its crucial you don’t think about the HOW. Just the WHAT, only focus on the end result.

Of course its not just as simple as how I made it sound. Sure if it was I would be a millionaire or a billionaire or be able to fly or have super strength yeah. It has prerequisites. They aren’t hard though and with a little practice You and I could soon be having everything we want.

This is really exciting for me because I haven’t actually undertaken a BIG intention. I have done little ones so I can grasp the basic concepts, so I propose we take an intention pledge. It works like this:

1.Everyday you set aside 15+ Minutes to focus on your intentions
2.You follow my simple instructions
3.If you so desire you can e-mail me with your intentions and your progress I will update the blog with your intentions and your results with your permission.
4.I will too, along with these updates, post my intentions and the results.

So what do you think? I will be doing this anyway with or without your support. But I would sure love to hear from you, and maybe even post your intentions and stuff on the site. So come one, come all and take THE INTENTION PLEDGE

A personal Example

So after my first two posts I kinda wondered…what if people think I am just all talk? It helps if you know your teacher has practiced what he preached right? So here is a little story about me and how in two years I have almost dissolved fear of performing in public.

So in calderdale we have a Shakespeare Festival for Kids. I.E/ age 11-16.Being sixteen, this was my last Chance to enter. Bummer but none the less…
I have only entered twice. Once when I was 13, and last Friday night. The school picks a play and a group of Kids set up this play however they wish….well…When I was 13 our school did Hamlet. I was the Incestuous Uncle Claudius. It was terrifying. But I got through without a slip up, I was scared though. Very scared, I forgot my lines once or twice but luckily I compensated enough so it looked good…I think. But what I am pointing out is my fear. My horrific, brain gnawing, mind numbing, vomity, fear that grips you when you think about all them mistakes you could make in front of everyone.
This time we did the tempest. I was Gonzalo, a relatively big part, but not that big. Well I learned my lines, and practiced, and rehearsed etc…And I felt only the slightest bit of fear. Even when I made a mistake I compensated and it went brilliantly. We all had some much fun and we all went home feeling like we had accomplished something good.

It was only afterwards that I noticed my total lack of fear. I saw the fear in some of the younger ones and I remember back to my Hamlet play…The fear seemed ridiculous…what was there to be afraid of?
Then I remember that between my Hamlet play, and the Tempest play, I had discovered Personal Development. And this is how I abolished fear. I didn’t imagine everything that could wrong. In honesty I didn’t think. I just focused on the moment. Everything was secondary at that time. Everything! I was purely in the moment. So pre-performance I rallied the younger ones, reminded them what to do, made sure everyone was ok…had a good laugh, cheered people up who may have been feeling the fear and off we went. We where first on so it was cool. No fear came to me. I didn’t get a nervous stomach ache. I didn’t feel sick or get confuzzled and bambouselled. I just delivered my lines with eloquence and Poise.

No ok so I maybe going off the mark here a little. But I am just trying to help you understand. I am just as normal as you. I get fears and worries. But the difference is…I kick their butts and laugh in their faces. I don’t sit around imagining everything that could go wrong. I imagine afterwards. All the praise. All the joy of being amazing. I imagine the praise from my peers. And how I return the praise.

That’s the difference. That’s the key.

Until Next time when I will be more about Subjective Reality

Subjective Reality

“As Within, So Without”

Subjective Reality is basically the belief in a universe that exists entirely in ones own mind. Its a pretty magnanimous statement and is very hard to prove through normal methods.
But I am not going to try and prove it to you. I have tried to prove it to people for a long time and I just keep getting flamed on forums and bashed on chat rooms so forget it. I am just giving you MY experience. Think of it what you will.

Now that my rant is over lets get down to business:
Subjective reality. Just what is it, in detail.

Have you ever had a dream that you where so sure was real? What if you couldn’t awake from that dream? How would you know the real world from the dream world? ~ Morpheus

That pretty much sums it up. We have all had those type of dreams. That we totally believe in. we accept the laws and rules of the dream reality and we wholly believe it. But when we wake up we question the reality of that dream immediately. This is what happened to me. I woke up.
I woke up only half though. I only saw some of it. I was looking at the trees but not the forest if you know what I mean. I saw promises of power and wisdom and I was hooked. And as the years have passed, 5 of them to be precise, I began to see what this path I tread is really about. Slowly, as I made myself ready, more of it unfolded and I learned more and more. I am now at a place where the whole Idea of Subjective reality is finally aligning itself for me. I discovered it about a year ago and I as blown away by it. I didn’t know what to make of it. It went against everything I believed in, everything the world was telling me was real, apparently wasn’t!
I couldn’t fathom it. How could I, a normal human being, be the centre of the universe. It sounded like some psycho’s ego trip and believe me, that’s what I thought. I mean, I took some of it to heart, but the “total control” thing just never really…clicked you know.
Until recently that is.
Not so long ago, maybe a few days, I finally began to understand. I was literally in control. Nothing happened unless I gave the go ahead. Literally. But does that mean I manifest terrorism? Do I manifest that cold? That Snow? That Death? That car accident? That bus driver? That girl? That dog? That car? That sun? etc…etc….

Well I had trouble with that because how could I have manifested something I was totally against? How could I manifest terrorism when I didn’t WANT terrorism. I didn’t even consciously think about it. Then it hit me…

Life is too short to be afraid

One of the first things you have to really tackle on your spiritual journey is the idea of fear: Fear is a controlling factor in our lives. We’re afraid of everything these days:

Debt
Punishment
Pain
Death

To name but a few. It is this fear that will stop your growing to your full potential. So what can you do about the fear? well one of my favourite ways to tackle fear is just to charge head first into it, say your afraid of Public speaking, that’s very common, in fact more people are afraid of public speaking than of Death, so its a good one to tackle.

First you have to accept that you are afraid of it. Imagine speaking in front of a large audience and feel the fear.

Then Stop!

Why do you feel that fear?

Is it the fear of failure? Do you think you will mess up? You will forget? You will stutter? Etc…
Guess what? You will.

Even some of the words greatest comedians make mistakes, forget lines, get embarrassed and what not. The only way to stop that is just to practice and practice. Which leads me onto my next technique:

Practice, Practice and Practice some more.

Have you ever heard the saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again” Well take heed of it! Do you think we discovered Nuclear Energy because we tried to find it only once? Do you think top athletes quit if they lose one race? Do you think top students quit if they fail one exam? No of course not. You learn from those mistakes and then make sure you don’t make them again. Simple as that.

So you are afraid of doing this public speech in front of your peers on whatever topic you can think of, it nots important. But your afraid. Your main concerns are:

They Won’t listen
They’ll laugh at me
I will make a mistake
I will forget my words

And on this list goes. But whilst you are sat there worrying, someone else who is doing another speech is at their computer, typing, and re-typing their speech, they will practice on their family, on their friends, in their head, they will make sure they don’t make as many mistakes. Whilst you sit at home feeling sorry for yourself, focussing on the Woe-is-me.

OK. OK. You say, but you said that even top Comedians and the like make mistakes, so what’s stopping me from cocking up, even if I did all this practice?

And this is the biggest thing I am going to talk about during this article:

Subjective Reality.

Subjective Reality is the Keystone to having a better life. It is the Holy Grail of life. When you use the Subjective Model in your life, the Ramifications are immense.
Subjective Reality is a model of reality which states that all things exist within one consciousness, and you, the Avatar with which you identify, is the singular point in which this mass consciousness is focussed on. Sounds a little freaky I know. But bare with me.
Last year I found some information on another site about Subjective reality. And let me tell you, I figured that it was interesting, but not really, viable. It sounded like wishful thinking, and a nice idea, but with no real backing. However when you analyse it thoroughly, it makes a whole lot of sense. Let me explain.
In your dreams, you interact with people and things which seem to be separate from you in the dream, and they all appear to have independent thoughts to you right. But you know they don’t. How can they? They exist within your own mind. Even you, as a dream avatar, do not exist, you are a projection of your own consciousness. Now in a dream you don’t know you are dreaming. You believe everything is real. Now imagine if that were true for the so-called “Real” world. Would you still be afraid of giving that speech if you knew everyone was just a projection of your own consciousness?
OK I am going to leave this article there for now, I will let you think over what I have said and hopefully you will come to your own conclusions. I don’t want to spoon feed you OK.
In the next article I will focus on just how the Subjective model of reality can affect your reality in such profound ways.

Until Next time.
Philip Nelson
